Dawn Redwoods were believed to be extinct until they were found in a Chinese temple in the early 20th century. The Dawn Redwood has flat, needle-like leaves, which turn red in the fall.

Watering Water daily during the growing season and do not let the soil dry out completely. Less water is required during the winter months.
