Known in Japan as Mataeda Hasami, these tools are designed for cutting branches flush to the trunk. The resulting wound can then heal over quickly with little scarring. The Concave Cutter is the single most important tool for Bonsai use for which there is no substitute.
The drop forged, ground and tempered construction of this grade of tool is an excellent choice for the intermediate enthusiast seeking a more economical Concave Cutter.
