Long Neck Copper Watering Can No. 4
Shipping calculated at checkout.
More than a watering can—this is a tool of ritual. Hand-forged in the Sumida ward of Tokyo by Negishi Industry Co., the No. 4 is inspired by the ceremonial ladles found at Japanese shrines. Every curve and joint results from master craftsmanship, where molten solder meets copper with quiet precision. Only three artisans in the world create these heirloom pieces, and each one takes nearly half a day to complete.
The long-necked design allows for exceptional balance and control, while the dual handle system offers ergonomic precision during delicate watering. Two interchangeable rain nozzles—oblique and straight—deliver water as a gentle cascade, ideal for bonsai, florals, or any planting that demands finesse.
Copper, as always, is both form and function. Left to age, it patinas beautifully, carrying forward the story of every drop poured. Cared for, it will last decades—and may very well outlive its first garden.
